Puls Haney, P.L.L.C. is pleased to announce that a recent verdict that was obtained by the firm was recognized in the 2015 publication Verdict Search as one of the Top 100 verdicts in the United States for 2015. The case, Steven Landers v. Wasco Products, was tried to verdict in the 48th District Court of Tarrant County, Texas. Mr. Landers was profoundly injured following a 35 foot fall through a sky light manufactured by Wasco Products. In addition to other injuries, Mr. Landers was required to have his right leg amputated below the knee. This products liability suit claimed that the skylight was not designed of sufficient strength to support the foreseeable loads of human beings that were known to be on the roof. Wasco Products denied all liability. The case resulted in a verdict in favor of Mr. Landers of $33,800,000.00. Click here to read more about the verdict.
